Originally built in the 1880s, Twenty Nevern Square is superbly furnished throughout with the 20 luxury bedrooms all having full-marbled, compact, en suite facilities and creatively decorated with beautiful hand crafted furniture echoing both Asian and European influences. Each bedroom is unique, from the delicate silks of the Chinese Room contrasting with the opulence of the Rococo Room through to the grandeur of the Pasha Suite with its balcony overlooking the garden square. Room service includes a late-night picnic tray. Excellent lunches and dinners are served in the intimate restaurant which adjoins a restful drawing room with open fire. Car parking is available. The four small double rooms, specifically for one person, each have their own subtle colour themes with Ensuite facilities and either shower or a tub/ shower. Each room is furnished in silk & velvet, with a TV and CD player concealed in individually crafted armoires. The colours of the luxury double & twin rooms range from vibrant hot orange and iridescent blue to the more subtle hues of green and blue, and rust and gold or black and gold hues. On the third floor, the gorgeous colour tones of bold blue and gold create the right atmosphere for a more intimate room with a king size bed. All the luxury rooms have individually styled, hand-carved headboards. The Chinese double room has windows framed in sumptuous cream silk, contrasting with the exotic effect of the thick black silk bedspread shots with delicate red thread flowers. An antique Pagoda style armoire lends a hint of Japanese to the style of the room. Specially crafted oak wooden floor completes the effect of the room. The rococo double room has rich silk curtains and covers have a bold mix of blue gold and purple. The Terrace room has the comfort of your own private sanctuary, where you can enjoy an intimate dinner on the discreet but spacious private terrace. The teal and rust tones make this room a perfect city escape. Two rooms are decorated with sleigh beds in a dramatic mahogany and silk-draped canopies to create an exotic atmosphere. Colour tones are either soft mauve, mingled with pale cream and blue, or rust silk offset with dramatic black and gold. There are 3 four poster bedrooms, one on the ground floor and one down a level via a small private staircase, and one on the lower ground floor. Colours vary from soft subtle colour tones, hot purple silk with old gold and grey/aubergine velvet, to a tranquil setting of soft cream and putty silk offset by black. From the moment you step into the Pasha
suite, with wooden floors and a subtle cedar aroma, you are taken back into
another world. Envelope yourself in the he luxurious silk bedcovers with a
peacock design and soft velvet aquamarine cushions. This suite is equipped
with the largest bathroom in the hotel with individual hand basins and
